How many sealing methods are there for pump mechanical equipment seals?

1. The mechanical seal for pumps has always been composed of two parts: a rotating component and a stationary component. The moving and static ring surfaces of the two decelerating movements become the main sealing surface of the seal.

Pump mechanical seals are also called end face seals. According to relevant laws and regulations, they are defined as: a very small pair of end faces that perpendicularly bisect the axis of rotation are matched by the working pressure of the liquid, the elastic (or magnetic) function of the compensation tissue and the auxiliary seal. It is a device that maintains the relative sliding of the fitting pieces and prevents liquid leakage.

2. Dry gas seal

Dry gas seal, or "dry running steam body seal", is a new type of bearing end cover seal that uses grooved seal technology for steam body seal, and belongs to non-touch seal.

Features: Good sealing characteristics, long life, no need for sealing oil system software, low output power consumption, simple actual operation and low operation and maintenance costs. As a non-maintenance sealing system software that does not require any cooking oil for cooling and lubricating the sealing end face, dry gas seal is replacing floating ring seals and labyrinth seals and becoming the main body seal of the high-speed multi-stage centrifugal fan and pump seals in the petrochemical industry.

Applicable places: high-speed power machinery such as centrifugal fan compressors, etc., where a small amount of processing gas can be leaked into the air without damage, such as air compressors, nitrogen presses, etc.
